Specialist in Neck, Back & Sports Injuries

I have always been a fitness fanatic, playing league hockey, league netball, going to the gym, tennis, badminton, aerobics and swimming and it was an injury to my back whilst playing in a hockey match in September 2000 that I was recommended to see Javed Mughal at Rainham Physiotherapy Centre. I then joined the practice in October 2000 working temporary on the Reception Desk covering for staff holidays.

Experience in my previous employment at the Head Office of a major Retail Company in London where I worked as Departmental Secretary/PA in an Administration Department and Personnel Department dealing with Policies and Procedures, Health and Safety and HR enabled me to contribute to help with the growing of this very busy Practice.

I was later promoted to Practice Manager dealing with the day to day running of the practice, ensuring all documentations are kept up to date such as Insurance policies, Clinicians CSP and HCPC registrations, staff DBS, data protection, Book keeping, Invoices, PAYE for staff, Health and Safety, Policies and procedures are adhered to. Managing staff and working on Reception desk, meeting and greeting clients, dealing with appointments and general requests. I feel very proud to be part of this successful physiotherapy centre which has now expanded further to accommodate a Rehab centre run by a qualified Rehab fitness and Personal Trainer.

Hobbies

In the past I have played hockey for Kent under 16’s, Medway hockey and netball leagues.  I now enjoy keeping fit taking part in the practice Boxfit classes, Kettlebells and Stretch and Tone classes. I like socialising, have a passion for cooking and enjoy gardening. I also love holidays abroad; dining in different culture restaurants and generally relaxing by the pool and sometimes taking part in the pool activities such as water volley ball and polo. 🙂
